Take-A-Seat

We designed the “Take-A-Seat!” campaign to remodel our largest auditorim, S261. Through a grass-roots efforts of individuals, classes, groups, organizations and businesses, you donated funds to help us “remove, replace and rename” each and every seat – one seat at a time.

Due to your continuing support and the generosity of Dr. LeRoy Essig, who stepped forward to name and complete the project, the Ann Crowe Essig Nursing Auditorium opened on January 26, 2007.

On behalf of all of us at the School, please accept my thanks for your generosity and for your support of nursing education at Mizzou! I have always known that nurses rise to the challenge - and make use of what they are given to create phenomenal outcomes despite the odds. You have once again shown the power of nurses - and your ability to inspire others to believe in what you do. For that, we are deeply grateful.
